Gleanings Community Meals

After 7 years, the Gleanings continues to flourish to help those with food insecurity. The core of that work, collaborating with the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK) to provide food and fellowship each week to our guests, continues to go well.

We serve about 130 meals a week. However, due to COVID-19, our guests no longer eat inside but drive into the parking lot to pick up their meals.

On the second Tuesday of each month, the Jewish Federation provides a bag of food for our guests which includes fresh vegetables. During the months of July and August, we collect school supplies which are taken to TASK for distribution.
